When I made the vases for the vertical garden with the powder milk boxes - see here; it hit me that the top part of the box was cute to make a picture frame with a cover.
I used:
- Top of the powder milk box,
- Scissors
- Paper glue
- Card (to place behind the photo)
- Decorative paper for the sides of the box
- Hot glue gun and glue
- Decorative material for the cover (eva, buttons, are just an example)
- Wood bar to balance the frame
- Cut the top of the powder milk box leaving 3 cm height
- Cut decorative paper with 3 cm height and glue it around the box
- Cut the photo the shape of the box and from the bottom place it as close to the cover as possible
- Cut card the shape of the box and glue it to the bottom
- I had a piece of wood from a broken hanger so I cut it to the size of the box's base and glued it with the hot glue gun to give more stability
- Decorate cover, you can use eva, figures, buttons, use your imagination and whatever you already have laying around :D This is the most fun part!
