Autumn Coasters

I'm not really sure what got into me but I just wanted to do some coasters for autumn... So here they are, made with big plastic caps that I painted and lined with some beautiful craft paper and plastic:

Tea anyone?

Van with plastic box

I inspired myself in my own trailer project and made a van :D

Paper flower

This paper flower looks very nice and although it seemed very hard to do, when you get the hang of it you can do it very quickly!

All you need is paper (you can choose any kind of colored paper, a magazine. or like me an old newspaper), scissors and paper glue:

After folding you get to glue the parts together and you get the flower done:

If you make a few and glue them together you can get a nice outcome.

It was our little gift for leidsterdag last Thursday, I would have made this sooner but only found out last minute...

Paper basket

I saw this technique using a balloon to make a basket but it was using cord, obviously crazy one here thought it would also work with stripes of paper, why not?

First try didn't work out as planned... It looked like a mouse to me, don't you agree?

(I added little ears, a tail and draw an eye to help further...)

But I understood what went wrong the first time and so I tried again:

And because autumn is coming up (although we already feel it...) here's what I put in it:

Plastic spoons flowers

I was keeping the plastic spoons from my baby's powdered milk thinking of doing a watermill but that didn't work out, all the sudden it it me to make a flower out of that to decorate another powdered milk box!!!

Sorry about the mismatching colors of the spoons but I only took the initial photo after finishing the flower and had no matching spoons anymore... :D

I like it so much (the proud owner of this new box as well), that I'm definitely continuing to keep those spoons!

Document holder

The passport holder is very practical for travelling but I thought why not make it personalized to your everyday toilette; it's still very practical!

Do you like it?

Memory game

I found this sweet stamps in a very cheap store and I really had to have them and so far I hadn't use them for anything. That made me sad, I hate to buy just to have stuff... Then I saw this memory game with plastic caps and knew just what to do!

The ink that came with the stamps was black so I used my paint to make it a colorful game:

And now were to store this? I thought a tea box would be nice, then I decided to decorate it with the same stamps so I would remember what's inside:

That's all! :)
