Office Organizers

I had been thinking for a while to use cereal boxes to organize documents:

It works for me - on one side I have things from work and on the other side personal things!

Inspired by a brasilian blog I also made this one to put some more accessories for the recycling projects:

Shampoo holder

They say the best ideas come from need and this one did... At my parents' place the shampoos and shower gels bottles were melting in the sun while waiting my return because the only place I had to put them at hand while in the shower was the bathroom window and at during the afternoon the sun hits really hard on that one.

I just cut a demijohn a little bit higher than half, leaving space for the handles.

I wasn't sure how I was going to hang it in the shower cabin though... but my mother had just the perfect thing at home! Check it out!

Cookie box

While on holiday we bought a new brand of baby milk and when it finished: again, I couldn't just throw the packaging to the bin... The feeling got even stronger when I realized it closes really good to keep the milk powder free from humidity... So I though that we could keep cookies in it or even dried figs (In Portugal we dry figs and put almonds and spices in them, it's a real treat!).

I loved the result but as I can't bring it back home I gave it to a very good neighbor that usually does dried figs very well!

Garbage shovel

This project is already well disseminated on the web but as I really needed one at home (we had 2 but are both broken) I decided to do one for us!

Looks a little bit silly decorated like this, no? :D

I wasn't sure what to do with this big plastic bottle but I saw some pictures online that gave me this idea:

Memories box

Since I was a teenager I store my drawings, letters, post cards, agendas and other souvenirs in shoe boxes. Usually each box has the content of a phase of my life and I love bumping in to them and go through my memories... Yes I'm a very nostalgic person! :D

This box is special because it's the only one I actually decorated before starting to collect new memories.

Door hanger

It was my mother's birthday last week, so obviously I wanted to do something special for her!

As she is crazy about her granddaughter I was looking to a mold of my daughter's hands and then feet thinking what could I do with that... I thought mainly of the animals we do with the shade of our hands - pigeons, wolf and stuff... when suddenly I looked at the feet mold and remembered my mother loves butterflies!!!
