Napkin holder

I usually see other websites for inspiration purposes and in one of them (which I'm very disappointed I couldn't find it again) I saw some PET projects and in the comments there was someone mentioning that he/she remembered an aunt doing also another project - napkin holder from dish washing bottle.

There were no pictures available, so I don't know if this resembles anything this person remembers, but I just started working on this and working my way through... to this result:

I was quite happy with the result! :D

Glass jars for flowers

So our roses are blooming like crazy now that the sun decided to shine, and I still had some glass jars to solve an old problem of mine whenever people offered me flowers… no jars, or sometimes just not the right size!

As I find the roses even more beautiful when they’re just a bud, I used a bottle of cider to keep one of them, also good if your valentine offers you only one rose! I used a jam jar to keep the big roses although the stem can’t be as long as when you buy them, or else I won’t have roses all summer like last year so that jar is just the perfect high!

I just made a small decoration because I think the flowers are already decoration enough!

Piggy bank

I was raised with the notion that you shouldn't spend all the money you get, you might need it for later! So this is not new to me... I've used this chips box as a money box since they appeared in the market. I only wish I'd kept all the boxes I ate and all of them were full of coins... hahaha!

I'm such a slave of time, I kept it very simple at first!

Since this a composite package you can't even send it to recycle so I challenge you to be creative and maybe even give another format to the box, like glue a piggy face made of carton... tada!

Glass lamp

I know this is not new at all, but I'm very proud of having done this glass lamp for our guests room!

After a few weeks of working on this project (several attempts with the abats jour...) this is the result:

Garden butterfly

I love to have butterflies in my garden and I see a lot of butterfly decorations for the garden; to hang in the outside walls usually by the door...

This time I though why not make something to decorate a vase for instance?
